The resource person was Dr. Shobha Prakash, Gynaecologist, Obstetrician from Neha Prakash hospital, Yelahanka New Town, Bangalore. She spoke about Women’s health, wellness, equality and empowerment. She began her talk by sharing her experiences and struggle she faced in her life. Her talk motivated all the women present as it was highly focused on the discrimination she faced and how bravely she carried herself forward by being focused and determined to achieve her dream of becoming a doctor.She concluded her talk by mentioning about the vaccines that should be taken by every woman.
The lecture was attended by all MSc & BSc students, research scholars and faculty of Physics REVA University and in & around Bangalore.
