Paper, hard boards, plastics, fabric etc. are the common model making materials used by students. Additionally, students need to explore more options. Wood is a material which has unique feature from cutting to carving and use in various purposes.
For that we have an inhouse faculty member Asst. Prof. Anupama R M, who has expertise in wood-cut print during her study and afterwards. She has formulated a 3 days’ workshop – “Wood-cut print” for the 1st year students of architecture, where they can not only get to cut and carve piece of wood, but also to translate into an art piece which could be helpful in various interior works.
