World Environment Day is an occasion to celebrate our planet Earth. People across the globe observe World Environment Day on June 5th. Held annually since 1974, it is the biggest observance related to the environment with the moto of creating awareness to protect mother earth, our mother nature. World Intellectual Property Day 2022 (on April 26) is an opportunity for young people to find out how intellectual property (IP) rights can support their goals, help transform their ideas into reality, generate income, create jobs and make a positive impact on the world around them. The campaign celebrates several inspiring inventors and creators across the globe who are working for a green future that is on cleaner alternatives to legacy fossil-fuel-based technologies and better and more sustainable food and natural resource management systems. It will also focus on how innovation, development and diffusion of eco-friendly technologies will enable to tackle the climate crisis and build a green future. There by bringing IPR and environmental conservation under one single umbrella. Overall the program was very informative and entertaining with cultural program by students, a dance drama on “ Save Tree, Save Soil and Save Nature” that conveyed the messages about afforestation and need to conserve environment. The sessions were very effective and interactive.
