The Department of Psychology, School of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences conducted a virtual workshop on “Writing in Psychological Science” on 16th March 2021 for B.A and M.Sc Psychology students. Ms. Aishwarya Iyer was the resource person, who is an active researcher. The workshop started at 10:00 am and ended at 1:00 pm. Ms. Aishwarya Iyer has done her Masters in Psychology from Glasgow University, UK and involved in many collaborative as well as individual research. The Workshop started with the welcome address by Dr Prathibha M.V. Students were trained about steps in writing research articles, organizing the manuscripts for publication, citation and referencing and justifying the results of the study scientifically. The session included hands on practice and students were made to cite, quote and write references to make it more learning oriented. The session was fruitful in training the students to engage in scientific writing. Around 100 students attended the session. The session ended with question and answer session and students were interactive and receptive.
