Code of conduct for students
1. ID Card
1.1 Students must always carry ID cards provided to them by the University, when moving in and around the campus and academic area.
1.2 Students should cooperate with the security personnel for verification and checking of ID cards.
1.3 Without ID cards students will not be allowed into the campus.
2. Dress code
2.1 Students should be decently and neatly dressed when they are in campus. Shredded jeans/ round necked T-shirts /sleeveless dresses will not be permitted.
2.2 Students should come with proper dress code with shoes.
2.3 Torn jeans, visible tattoos, half pants, skirts, dress above knee/ objectionable dresses are strictly prohibited.
3. Ragging
3.1 Ragging/harassing of any kind is strictly prohibited in and around the campus.
4. Personal Grooming
4.1 Students must have proper decent haircut.
4.2 Students (Boys) should be neatly shaved.
5. Alcohol/ Drugs/ smoking
5.1 Students should not bring, store, consume alcohol/intoxicating drinks, drugs, substance of any kind in the campus.
5.2 Consumption or distribution of intoxicants like alcohol/drugs/psychotropic substances in any form or smoking or chewing pan masala, spitting is strictly prohibited.
6. Gambling
6.1 Gambling of any kind shall not be allowed in the campus premises.
6.2 Violation of the rule will invite action as per law of the land in addition to the expulsion from the university.
7. Weapons
7.1 Unauthorised possession, carrying or use of any weapon, ammonium, explosives or potential weapons, fireworks, use of harmful chemicals and drugs is strictly prohibited in campus.
NOTE: Violation of any of the rules and regulations above will invite disciplinary action as per the university code of conduct and may result in expulsion from the University.
