RECENT TRENDS IN APPLIED AND COMPUTATIONAL MATHEMATICS
(ICRTACM-2023)
Organised by Department of Mathematics, School of Applied Sciences, REVA University in collaboration with Indian Association of Applied Microbiologists

ABOUT THE 4th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

4th International Conference on Recent Trends in Applied and Computational Mathematics (ICRTACM-2023) is the premier platform to create a future strategical development in applications of Mathematics in various fields of Engineering and Technology and give new directions to young researchers in applying innovative ideas in their research areas. ICRTACM 2023 aims to bring together both novice and experienced researchers, to meet new colleagues, collect new ideas and establish new cooperation between research groups and provide a platform for researchers from academic and industry to present their original work and exchange ideas, information, techniques and applications in the field of Pure and Applied Mathematics, including, but not limited to the broad topics of Operations Research, Numerical Analysis, Computational Fluid Mechanics, Graph Theory, Algebra, Fuzzy Logic and Applications, Statistical Methods, and Mathematical Modelling of Engineering Systems.

Guest of Honour
Nobel Laureate
Dr. Sir Richard J Roberts
Sir Richard John Roberts FRS (Born 6 September, 1943) is a British Biochemist and Molecular Biologist. He was awarded the 1993 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Phillip Allen Sharp for the discovery of “Introns in eukaryotic DNA and the mechanism of gene-splicing”. Roberts received a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Sheffield, Eng., in 1968. After postdoctoral research at Harvard University, he took a post at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York in 1972. In 1992 he joined New England Biolabs, a biotechnology firm. He currently works at New England Biolabs.
“What causes genes to be split?”
He was knighted in the 2008 Birthday Honors. In 2016, Roberts and other Nobelists composed and signed a “Laureates Letter Supporting Precision Agriculture (GMOs)” addressed to the leaders of Greenpeace, the United Nations.
