IIT Bombay had organized a “4TH A-View INTERACTION SESSION FOR SKANI101Xs Blender 3D Animation course” on Friday dated 21st April from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm using A-View interaction software for remote centers throughout India. REVA University had attended the session from the School of ECE, A total 23 students of 4th and 6th semester had actively participated in the online interaction session.

The School of CIT inassociation with the School of ECE conducted a hands on trainingsession for the students of 6th semester ECE who haveselected Data Mining course as elective.

The program began withinauguration session in the Dr. C.N.R.Rao Seminar hall, which was graced by Honorable VC , Dr. S.Y.Kulkarni , Hon’ble directors Dr. Sunilkumar S Manvi and Dr. R.C.Biradar of the the schools of CIT and ECE respectively. Dr. Vishwanath R Hulipaled and Dr. Mallikarjuna Kodabagi were the conveners for the event. The inauguration wasattended by the targeted students and faculty members.

Inauguration wasfollowed by keynote speech by Dr. Vishwanath R. Hulipaled, whichhelped the students to understand the concepts, scope andapplications of Data Science in a detailed and lucid way.

Keynote speech wasfollowed by hands-on training sessions on R by Mrs. Nimrita Koul in QEEE Lab, Main Block. The sessions covered installation,fundamentals, graphics and visualization using R tool.

Dr. R.C.Biradar, Prof.Basarkod, Dr. Vishwanath R. Hulipaled presented certificates to all participants at the end of the training session.

No.of students registered and attended the workshop: 53 + 2 students from first year ECE. Total 55.

 

Average Student Feedback: The students found the sessions relevant and interesting and want a follow up of the contents of R programming.
