REVA University was a part of the Marathon Conducted by , Border Security Force, Signal Training School , Yelahanka , this spectacular event was conducted with Co-Ordination of REVA University N.C.C Unit, and Border SecurityForce ‘Run for BSF Martyrs’ which flagged off by Shri.P. Raju, Inspector General, STS BSF Bengaluru at 6:30 AM.

In Addition to BSF Personals,students from REVA University, other local colleges/educational institutes and Lions Club, figuring a total of more than 350 participants, had participated in this event. The Run traversed through nearby Sathnur village which attracted common people. In his speech, Shri. P. Raju, IG STS informed that this ‘Run for BSFMartyrs ‘ is being organized today in all over BSF establishments /country to commemorate the supreme sacrifice made byBSF Soldiers who lost their lives in the alter of duty .

After the event, Shri P Raju , IGSTS gave away the trophies ,medal and cash prizes to the winners of Male and Female disciplines.

Including N.C.C Unit more than 150 students participated on this event the list of winners is given below For Boys-

1St prize Harish (

2nd Prize Pavan (B.Com)

3rd Ganesha (Mech)


For Girls-

1st prize Vaishnavi Patil (BCA)

2ND Prize Roshni (B.ALLB)

The Uniqueness in the above eventwas that the children of the age of 8-10 years wanted to participateand they participated short distance run inside the STS BSF Campusand all the children who participated were felicitated with prizesand lot of appreciations.
