Visit to Awards for Excellence in Architectural Thesis 2019 (COA)

School of Architecture, REVA University organized a visit to National Awards for Excellence in Architectural Thesis 2019 (Undergraduate) and Documentation of Heritage Award 2019 exhibition conducted by Council of Architecture and hosted by R. V. College of Architecture, Bangalore.
Students from all over zone 04 participated and 10 of them were shortlisted for the final round presentation. The day was packed with excellent presentations, students were able to see first-hand all the presentations. Such presentations of interactive nature add a new dimension to architecture design delivery and alleviate the disinterest created in regular classroom lectures. The presentation was rich in visual imagery and sound in its analysis and made an instant connect with the audience. Students from REVA University also participated in the Documentation of Architectural Heritage (DAH) category of the exhibition. With our own batch of final year students gearing up for their architectural thesis, it was an immensely enriching experience to be exposed to such an inspiring display of creativity and exciting new ideas.
This is an excellent initiative by COA & NIASA, which will bring about great encouragement for students and the Architectural community likewise.
