Expert Talk on Modelling and Computations of Fluid Flows and Heat Transfer in Engineering and Biological System

The Department of Mathematics, School of Applied Sciences, REVA University organized an expert talk for M.Sc students, faculties of Mathematics and interdisciplinary faculties on ““Modelling and Computations of Fluid Flows and Heat Transfer in Engineering and Biological System”s” on 2nd March 2019 at Junjappa seminar hall at 10.30 AM. The guest of honor was Prof. Makinde, The Distinguished Professor of Applied and Computational Mathematics and the faculty of Military Science, Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

In this Session, students of M.Sc have come across the Applications, which play an important role in Engineering and Research. Prof. Makinde explained on the boundary layer theory, Viscous and non viscous fluids and Newtonian and Non Newtonian fluids and the basics of fluid dynamics. All the students were inspired in his session, and looking forward to it.

The day was planned to share the knowledge among the students and the faculty. The Coordinator of the Dept of Mathematics, REVA University, Dr.Harish Babu Felicitated Prof. Makinde for his incomparable Research work.
