The students of 8th semester ‘A’ section with faculty members visited the IMTMA, BIEC. The students had a brief introductory session by Mr. Gopi, Sr. Executive Officer, IMTMA for about 45 minutes. The session was about the Importance of control systems in industrial automation.
Later the staff and students were grouped into two, each group was assigned with an executive and had a short conversation (Questionnaire). The students visited the lab where they saw the operation of process control
The students interacted with the Executives and their staff related to the Industrial Automation. They gained knowledge of industrial training and its importance in the future. They have also got an idea about what the industries are expecting from young engineers.

1. Mechanical Elements
2. Fundamentals of design
3. System Technology
4. Selection of control systems
5. Project Documentation
Event Outcome:
Total Participants: 52 Students and 2 faculty members.
