The School of ECE had arranged an Industrial Visit to M/s. Toyoda Gosei Pvt. Limited, Bengaluru dated on 07/03/2019, for the students of 3rd year (6th Sem F Section) consisting of around 40 students. These students were accompanied by Prof. Ravi Shankar D. The visit commenced at 10.45 am in the Morning where students were exposed to knowledge regarding the Sensors used in Automobiles, Assembling of Sub-components, Novel method of painting the sub-components. Adoption of 5S methods. etc.
Toyoda uses advanced technical skills to develop and produce rubber and plastic products in four areas. In a system that covers all steps in manufacturing, from materials development to production and processing, They aim to introduce high value-added products that raise the performance of automobiles. Using the technologies they have cultivated few automobile parts, and developed products in various other fields. There some products are popular in market such as air purifiers, for which they have involved in all steps from design to production, to construction and industrial machines, home construction components and personal electronics.
Mr. Srinidhi,HR Manager and Mr. Manjunath, Senior Quality Engineer, welcomed the gathering and guided the students with initial presentation of the company and demonstrated the Vision and Mission of the Industry. Students were exposed to knowledge regarding the Sensors used in Automobiles, Assembling of Sub-components, Novel method of painting the sub-components. Adoption of 5S methods. etc.
Mr. Manjunath answered all the queries that students had related to the things they had observed at Toyoda. Students were then encouraged to prepare the current marketing requirements.
He insisted students to become Entrepreneurs and provide job opportunities to others. He advised students to dream big and achieve the best possible of it. He also appreciated the initiative taken up by REVA University for introducing such visits for the young minds and nurturing their careers. Hence, the industrial visit to Toyoda Gosei Pvt. Ltd enriched knowledge to both students and faculty in knowing more about Automobile Sensors and Components, Assembling the sub-parts etc.
We would like to thank our beloved Chancellor Dr. P. Shyama Raju Sir for providing all facility and support to conduct such Events. We also thank Vice Chancellor Dr. S.Y. Kulkarni Sir,Registrar Dr. M. Dhanamjaya Sir Dean, Placement, Training, and Planning, Dr. N. Ramesh Sir for their constant support in organizing such events.

Kounte, School of ECE for his motivation in organizing the Industrial Visit to M/s. Toyoda Gosei Pvt. Limited, Bengaluru.
