s part of its unique initiative, REVA Business Distinguished Lecture series, resource person Dr. Anand Ranganathan, a Consulting Editor and columnist, International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Delhi was invited to deliver lecture on “Scientific Approach in doing Business and Politics is in the National Interest” on 13th January 2023.

he resource person started with highlighting the very nature of science and experiments conducted as a part of it. The first and foremost nature of science is reproducibility. When a scientific experiment succeeds, it means that the experiment is reproducible as such. If it is not reproducible, it becomes a failed experiment/junk. Idea(s) in science are conceived by an individual but worked out by team of scientists to make it useful for solving issues in the society.

inally, the Dr. Anand felt the proud moment as a nation, as India assumed G-20 presidency during the end of the year 2022. The motto of this G-20 is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam which means “The World is One Family”. This indicates that the countries in the world are treated as one family. When US denied to stand for “Paris Climate Change”, India stood and supported, being a developing country. India works for the interest and development of the world and then the national interest.
