REVA University Scholarships

REVA University believes in encouraging meritorious and other deserving students who would like to pursue their studies on our campus.  The scholarships are awarded to students seeking admissions through merit, sports quota, defence quota, PH quota, or other applicable categories. These scholarships are awarded based on the eligibility criteria decided by the University.

  1. Student Scoring Rank in Karnataka Common Entrance Test(K-CET):

Students who have qualified in K-CET are entitled to receive the scholarship based on their ranks. The percentage of scholarship amount varies from student to student as the scholarship is strictly awarded based on the rank secured in K-CET.

  1. Merit in Qualifying Board Examination:

Candidates who have performed well in their qualifying board examinations are eligible to obtain scholarship as per the University norms. The qualifying board examinations including 10+2 of CBSE and ICSE, PUC, JEE Main, REVA EET and other such qualifying examinations as per University rules.

  1. Merit in Qualifying Board Examination:

The University also offers scholarships to students who have secured high scores in MAT/ CAT/ PGCET/UG programmes. The scholarship amount will be decided by the University based on the scores/marks obtained by the candidates in their respective qualifying examinations.

  1. For Students from REVA to REVA:

Note (For pointers 1-4):

  • The above-mentioned scholarships will be available only for the first academic year.
  • To avail the scholarship in the following year the student must score above 9 CGPA in the first year.
  • The board examinations recognised by the respective State Governments / Central Government / Union Territories or any other equivalent qualifications are considered.
  • If the candidate is eligible for any other scholarship offered by any government body, then he/she is not eligible for this benefit.
  1. Sports Scholarship:

Candidates seeking admissions on sports quota are eligible for a scholarship based on their participation at State/National/International levels. Students participated at different levels in sports events such as athletics, basketball, volleyball, swimming, hockey, cricket, etc., are eligible for scholarships.  Relevant documents should be produced to avail the scholarship on sports quota.

  1. Social Service & Bravery Awards:

Students who have a demonstrated commitment in social service are qualified for University scholarship. Candidates who have won National Bravery Award are also eligible to apply for the same.

  1. Defence, Central Armed Police Forces & Other Sister Organizations:

Defence scholarship will be awarded to children of defence personnel who would like to join REVA University for any academic courses. The defence services that come under this criterion are Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Coast Guard, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Railway Protection Force (RPF), National Security Guard (NSG), Special Frontier Force (SFF), Assam Rifles, Border Road Organisation, General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Military Engineers Service (MES), and Defence Security Corps (DSC).

The concessions listed below are for regular programmes only.

  1. Scholarship for Person with Physical Disability:

REVA offers scholarships for differently abled students to encourage them to pursue higher studies and help them to be successful in their lives. A maximum of three students can avail of this scholarship.

  1. For Siblings:

A concession of fees is offered to siblings of students who are pursuing their studies at REVA University.

The scholarship is for 1st year only.

If the student wants to continue the same scholarship in the successive years, the student should score a minimum 8.0 CGPA and should maintain a minimum of 85% attendance without any fee dues or backlogs in the current year.

Referral Scheme Proposal

The Referral Scheme is a scheme proposed through which every admission referred through a referral will be given a certain discount as proposed below. The conditions for the referral will be listed separately and worked on in detail.

General Terms & Conditions:

  • There are limited seats under the scholarship schemes that are applicable on a first come first serve basis.
  • The application for the scholarship should be submitted before the last date of the admissions. After the admission process, no scholarship application will be entertained.
  • All the required documents have to be submitted along with the scholarship application.
  • The student must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria to avail the scholarship.
  • Students are eligible only for one scholarship scheme at a time(whichever is high will be applicable)
  • All the above-mentioned scholarships are for the first academic year only.

The amount of scholarship depends on the merit of the student, date of admission, and programme fee. Scholarships are offered according to the University norms, and decisions made by the concerned authorities will be final.
