Research Project

My research topic is “The Social and Cultural Study of Tribal Tales of Jharkhand”. The primary research involves Cultural Studies in Literature with special reference to the folktales/Origin Stories/Creation myths of the five major tribes of Jharkhand. Abridging the creation myths of these five tribes into an entity and exploring the inner sense of the myths is an addition to the gathered knowledge of folk literature.
