Research Project

Dr. Salma A, Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Applied Sciences, holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from VTU. She completed her M.Sc. in Mathematics, securing the 2nd rank at the university level, and earned her B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Bangalore University. With 17 years of teaching experience and 7 years of research experience, she is currently guiding five research scholars in the field of Fluid Mechanics/Fluid Dynamics. She received the “Best Researcher Award – 2021” from REVA University for her outstanding contributions to research. Her areas of interest include Differential Equations, Fluid Dynamics, Mathematical Modelling, and Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD). A dedicated researcher in Fluid Dynamics, she has published 24 research articles in national and international journals and has participated in various national and international conferences.
