REVA University fosters ethical, moral and humanitarian ideals and behavior in its new generation of budding professionals through its various outreach activities and programs conducted in campus and outside. This is a foregrounding for them to build upon, a holistic approach to life.

National Service Scheme (NSS):

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Gandhiji's Centenary year, 1969. Aimed at developing student's personality through community service, NSS is a voluntary association of young people in Colleges, Universities and at +2 level working for a campus-community linkage.

National Cadet Corps (NCC):

The National Cadet Corps is the Indian military cadet corps with its Headquarters at New Delhi. It is open to school and college students on a voluntary basis. National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and Universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades.

University Social Responsibility (USR):

Nation Building is the foremost philosophy behind all collective actions emerging from the University. To consolidate and reinforce the idea of better people, better society, better world, REVA has taken up initiatives that not only enlarge a student's learning scope but also act in reconstructing the world around us.

Unnathi-Forum for Women:

Unnathi-Forum for Women, REVA University, caters to diverse requirements by providing a very productive space for all women of the university. As the name suggests, it is a platform for women to grow and evolve through progressive alternatives. The Forum initiates a space to engage with students and staff members on issues, information and activities that concern women in the context of the workplace. The primary aim is the provision of a safe and secure environment for staff and students and additionally Unnathi also takes up several initiatives towards gender sensitization and awareness campaigns. The core composition of the Forum comprises staff and student coordinators who run the activities and has all women students and staff as members. The Women’s Grievance Redressal Cell and the Anti-sexual Harassment Cell (SPARSH) have their own constituent bodies which take care of issues and concerns as per required guidelines.

The activities of the Forum are:

  • Annual Lecture series– Smt Rukmini Memorial Lecture series on Women Empowerment ( by women achievers)
  • International Women’s day activities
  • Gender Equity and Gender Sensitization programs ( talks/ awareness campaigns/ Interactions/Workshops etc)
  • Annual Women’s conference.
  • Women Grievance Redressal Cell ( Addresses grievances of women staff and students)
  • SPARSH-Sensitization, Prevention and Redressal of Sexual Harassment (Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell)
