University Industry Interaction Centre – Innovation Festival

Held On: 8th-10th February, 2018

Organized By : School of Electronics and Communication Engineering

As said by Warren Bennis “Innovation - any new idea - by definition will not be accepted at first. It takes repeated attempts, endless demonstrations, and monotonous rehearsals before innovation can be accepted and internalized by an organization. This requires courageous patience." The process of translating an idea or invention into a product creates scientific and economic value to the country. It involves deliberate application of information, imagination and initiative in deriving greater or different values from resources, and includes all processes by which new ideas are generated and converted into useful products. Creative ideas & innovations have changed our lifestyle to a great extent. Innovation is the key to progress and sustain the growth in future Hence to nurture the ideas and build the confidence of the students we from UIIC, Innovation centre and school of ECE, REVA University supported the students to realise there innovative ideas and promoted them to participate in various competitions to enhance their skills by interacting with audience and participants. In this regard, we encouraged the students to participate in the event Innovation festival 2018. This state level innovation festival was organised by Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum during 8th-10th February, 2018.

Mr. Vishnu Sai Rayulu, Ms. Pooja R. and Mr. Shyam students of 4th Semester School of ECE under the guidance of Dr. Manjula R. B. and mentorship of Dr. R. C. Biradar, Director School of ECE and Dr. Kiran kumari Patil, Director UIIC submitted following projects and were selected for the presentation.

Shyama Raju for providing all facility and support. We also thank Vice Chancellor Dr. S. Y. Kulkarni sir, Registrar Dr. M.
