FORCE Activities

Face Painting Competition

Organised By: School of ECE

Date: 23rd September 2019

Time : 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Venue : Drawing hall-309

"Face Painting Competition" was conducted by School of ECE under FORCE on 23rd September 2019. Students were split into a group of 2 students each and were given the theme- ‘Dream’ and had to come up with ideas on the spot. Different parameters were considered while judging the event.

Outcomes of Face Painting Competition
• 30 Students formed 15 groups and actively participated in the event.
• The theme of the event was ‘Dream’.
• Event focused on creative ideas and most put together art.

On behalf of FORCE team I would like to thank our beloved Chancellor Sir Dr. P. Shyama Raju for providing all facilities to conduct such programs. We thank Dr.R.C. Biradar, Director, School of ECE & Lakshman G, and Deputy General Manager for their continuous support.

We highly appreciate Anupama madam and Sarveda madam, for sparing their valuable time and judging the entire event. Last but not the least we thank student FORCE Coordinators and Volunteers without whom this event wouldn’t have been a success.

Singing Event

Organised By: School of ECE

Date: 23rd September 2019

"Singing Event" was conducted by School of ECE under FORCE on 23rd and 24th September 2019. Students could perform solo or with a group. Different parameters were considered while judging the event.

Outcomes of Singing Event :
• There were over 35 teams of solo and group who participated very enthusiastically.
• There were 4 categories for the students to choose from.
• Event focused on many factors and the most soothing performances were shortlisted.
On behalf of FORCE team I would like to thank our beloved Chancellor Sir Dr. P. Shyama Raju for providing all facilities to conduct such programs. We thank Dr.R.C. Biradar, Director, School of ECE & Lakshman G, and Deputy General Manager for their continuous support.

Organic Ganesha Clay Competition

Organic Ganesha Clay Competition
"Clay Competition" was conducted by School of ECE under FORCE on 30th August 2019. All organic clay models from scratch were made on the spot and a total of 18 teams participated in the event. Different parameters were considered while judging the event.

Outcomes of Organic Ganesha Clay Competition
• 54 Students (18 teams) actively participated. • Group Interaction among teams was appreciable. • Event focused on creative ideas and no use of any inorganic material. On behalf of FORCE team I would like to thank our beloved Chancellor Sir Dr. P. Shyama Raju for providing all facilities to conduct such programs. We thank Dr.R.C. Biradar, Director, School of ECE & Lakshman G, and Deputy General Manager for their continuous support.

FORCE AARAMBHA

To Be Held On : 23rd August 2019

Organized by : REVA University (School of ECE)

About The Event:

School of ECE had organized FORCE AARAMBHA function for all ECE students under FORCE on 23rd August 2019 in Kuvempu Auditorium-CV Raman Block, REVA University at 9:30am. FORCE AARAMBHA is an inaugural function which will provide a platform to all the students to participate and enhance their skill in technical, cultural, sports and club activities.

This function was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. Vinay Pawar, VP and Director – R&D, Spark Minda Technical Centre, Minda Corporation Limited and alumni Praneeth Kumar A.A. He is currently working as Sr. Field Application Engineer at Accord Software & Systems PVT LTD, Bangalore.

The function started with REVA anthem, welcome speech and invocation song followed by Lightning the lamp by dignitaries. Dr R C Biradar, Director, School of ECE addressed the gathering. FORCE badges were distributed to faculty coordinators and to office bearers followed by the motivational talk of chief guest and alumni. Prize distribution took place for previous year FORCE Coordinators and semester toppers. Dr S Y Kulkarni, Vice Chancellor, REVA University addressed the gathering on the significance of FORCE activities. The function ended with the vote of thanks by Mr.Gagan, FORCE President, School of ECE, REVA University. Dr R.C Biradar, Director, School of ECE felicitated placement team which is headed by Dr Ramesh N, Dean-Training, Placement and Planning for placing the ECE students in various companies. School of ECE felicitated Varsha first year ECM student for being the part of Guinness World Record.

After FORCE AARAMBHA, Fresher’s day function took place for first year students.

We would like to thank our beloved Chancellor Dr. P. Shyama Raju for providing all facility and support to conduct such programs. We also thank Vice Chancellor Dr. S. Y. Kulkarni Sir, Registrar Dr. M. Dhanamjaya Sir, Dean, Placement, Training, and Planning Dr. N. Ramesh Sir for their motivation to conduct Technical Talks.

We highly appreciate all the faculties and supporting staff for sparing their valuable time and making this event a grand success. Last, but not the least I thank student FORCE team without whom this event would not have been a success.

Title: Smart Systems and Applications Skill Development Center

Held on : 16/08/2019 to 20/08/2019

We take pleasure to inform that the School of ECE had organized 5-days Skill Development Program for up-skilling the students of ECE V semester in the areas of Application Development, Full Stack Development, Data Science using Python and Cyber Security from 16–20 August, 2019. The program is conducted by industrial experts from i-Noesis Solutions, Bangalore. The program is inaugurated on 16th August, 2019 in Dr. CNR Rao Seminar Hall, in the honorable presence of Dr. S. Y. Kulkarni, Vice Chancellor, Dr. R. C. Biradar, Director, School of ECE, Dr. Kiran Kumari Patil, Director, UIIC and Dr. Bharathi S.H., Professor, School of ECE.

School of ECE aims for creating and nurturing emerging industry oriented new technology skills among student fraternity. Students were given a choice to choose courses of their interest. The students were allowed choose one out of four courses. Around 400 students of ECE V Semester took active participation in the skill development training. These courses are trained by industry experts as per the current need of the industry. On the fifth day of the event, students were assessed followed by the feedback session. The students will be awarded a certificate based on their assessment. On behalf of the Skill Development Center, School of ECE, REVA University we propose our heartfelt thanks to our Honorable Chancellor Dr. P. Shyama Raju Sir for providing all facility and support. We also thank Vice Chancellor Dr. S. Y. Kulkarni Sir, Registrar Dr. M. Dhanamjaya Sir, Dean Training and Placement Dr. Ramesh Sir for their continuous guidance and support.

We also extend our thanks to Dr. R.C. Biradar Sir, Director, School of ECE , Dr. Bharathi S.H. Madam Professor School of ECE and SDC-Head, Dr. Seshikala madam, Third Year Coordinator and Dr. Kiran Kumari Patil Madam, Director, University-Industry Interaction Center for their constant support and encouragement.
