First Year B. Tech ECE Students Project Exhibition

Date : 17th MAY 2019

Organised By: School of ECE

Project exhibition was held for second semester on 17/5/2019 between 10:50 am and 12:50pm. Students have done their projects on the fundamental concepts of Electronics circuits, Communication and Digital Electronics.

This Project exhibition is the part of Project-Based Learning among students of ECE on Analog Electronics. School of ECE aims at providing hands-on experience to various technical aspects of engineering problems which will enable students to develop creative thinking and innovation in bringing up better engineering solutions and improves the depth of understanding of engineering concepts of Analog Electronics Circuits. All first year B. Tech ECE students exhibited their projects which have been evaluated by Expert panel.

Objectives of PBL:
• To demonstrate personal abilities and skills required to realize and present an extended idea in Electronics. • To analyze hardware design concepts to build real time system. • To compare and contrast similar existing products and highlight the benefits.

On successful completion of the PBL Project exhibition, the students will be able to:

• Extend their learning experience by designing projects and providing them with opportunities to enhance their CV and employability.
• Demonstrate a sound technical knowledge of their selected project topic.
• Undertake problem identification, formulation and solution.
• Design engineering solutions for complex problems utilizing a systems approach.
• Demonstrate the knowledge skills and attitude of a professional engineers.

We would like to thank our beloved Honorable Chancellor Dr. P. Shyama Raju Sir, for providing all the necessary facility and support for conduction of the event. We also thank Vice Chancellor Dr. S.Y.Kulkarni Sir, for their constant support and motivation. We also thank our Director, School of ECE, Dr. Rajashekhar C Biradar, for his constant support and guidance. We also thank all faculty and staff of school of ECE for their active involvement and support.

Held On : 29/11/2017

Faculties : Prof. Lavanya N, Prof. Bharathi Devi

About The Event:

The School of ECE had arranged Project Display on dated 29/11/2017, for the students of 1st year (1st Sem A Section) consisting of 60 students. These students were accompanied by 2 faculties from the School of EEE and School of Physics namely Prof. Lavanya.N., Prof. Bharathi Devi. The Project Display commenced at 1.40 pm in the afternoon.

Our respected Director Dr. Rajashekar.P.Mandi, Dr. Divakar B.P., Dean (R&I) and Prof. Narayana Swamy, Deputy Director from School of EEE have visited, witnessed the Project demo given the inputs and encouraged to all the students to take up the projects into next level. Our respected Director Dr. Rajashekhar.C.Biradar also visited the project demo and addressed & motivated all the students also assured to provide the necessary help to take up the projects into higher level by conversion into product development or patents before they finish the course.

He advised students to dream big and achieve the best possible of it. He also appreciated the initiative taken up by Faculty members for introducing such project demo for the young minds and nurturing their careers. Hence, the project demo enriched knowledge to both students and faculties in knowing more about Practical models.

The students showed a very good response and participated in good number. A total of 10 projects were exhibited. Around 60 students participated in the event. Our students presented some very promising and useful projects like Tesla coil, Laser Security System, Automatic Street light, Dancing LED, Fire Detector, Rain Detector, Smoke Detector, Manual Generator, Touch Sensor, Light Sensor.

On behalf of our School of ECE we would like to thank our Honorable Chancellor Dr. Shyama Raju, Vice Chancellor Dr. S. Y. Kulkarni, Registrar Dr. M. Dhanamjaya and, Director School of ECE Dr. Rajashekhar C. Biradar for their continuous support. Also, we would extend our regards to the First year coordinator Dr. G.Seshikala for her encouragement and cooperation.

Last but not the least; we thank all the participants from school of ECE, who showed great interest in this event.
