Expert talk - BYJU’S Carrer

Byju’s Classes is an educational institution where they counsel and train students on entrance exams such as GMAT, CAT, GRE, UPSC (Civil Services), JEE (Joint Entrance Exam), NEET (National Eligibility and Entrance Test). They also mentor students for K-12 program for students from 6th to 12th grade, ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) and Bank PO Exams so that they can excel in their career.

The company was founded in 2008 and was funded by Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative in 2016 whose founder is Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan. They also have other investors such as Sequoia, Sofina, Verlinvest etc. Head office is in Bangalore. They have study centers in Koramangala, Jaynagar, Hebal and in Chennai (T.Nagar), Hyderabad (Tarnaka and Kukatpally) & Delhi.

They also have a global presence as they have a tie-up with More Ideas, LLC in UAE. Byju’s has also been a case study for Harvard Business School. They are expanding in India. They love to have a seminar in our college for our students alone regarding higher education.

  • Mr. P N Santosh: An MBA from ISB, Hyderabad and an Electrical Engineer (Gold Medalist from CEG-Anna University, Chennai) is a 100 percentile scorer in CAT Verbal and 338/340 score in GRE,780/800 scorer in GMAT.
  • Mr. Amith Ravindra: 330/340 scorer in GRE, 760/800 scorer in GMAT, 100 percentile in CAT.

The above speakers have also counseled and successfully mentored more than 100 students to get into prestigious colleges such as IIT, Indian School of Business (ISB), Kellogg, Wharton, Duke, Kelly etc.

  • A reality check on GATE/CAT/GMAT/GRE
  • Briefing students on their opportunities regarding courses related to technical (students’ technical subject), managerial (MIM, ISB YLP, Harvard 2+2 program, etc,) and techno-managerial (MEM) right after graduation both in India and abroad.
  • Profile building – how to bridge the gap bettheyen where the student’s current profile stands to the student profile that would get him/her an admit in the desired university.
