DR. RAJASHEKHAR C. BIRADAR
Dr. Rajashekhar C. Biradar
Director
Dr. Rajashekhar C. Biradar has 29 years of teaching and research experience. He has many research publications in reputed national/international journals and conferences. Some of the journals where his research articles published are Elsevier, IET, Springer, Wiley and IOS Press, having good impact factors. He has published 51 papers in peer reviewed national and international journals, 62 papers in reputed national and international conferences and 3 book chapters.
Citations and h-index (As on Feb. 2019): Google Scholar, 752 citations (h-index = 14 and i-10index = 21), Scopus – 473 (h-index = 11), Web of Science – 296 (h-index=10). He is involved in research which covers various sorts of wireless networks such as ad hoc networks, sensor networks, mesh networks, network security, smart antennas, Index modulation, etc. He has guided 4 PhD’s and currently, he is guiding 8 PhD students. He is a reviewer of various reputed journals and conferences and chaired many conferences. Worked in Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Govt of India at SHAR Centre, Sriharikota and ISTRAC, Bangalore from 1975 to 1987. Worked on the first Indian Satellite Launch Vehicle project SLV-3 and on ASLV, PSLV & GSLV projects in the areas of mission analysis. Worked on Rohini, BHASKARA and APPLE satellite projects orbit analysis.
During 1987 to 2013, he worked in the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Ministry of Defence, Govt of India, Bangalore. Worked on India's first modern fighter aircraft project - Indian Light Combat Aircraft (LCA-Tejas),in the areas of Integrated Flight Control Systems (IFCS). He held various positions like Group Director, Project Director, Technology Director / Outstanding Scientist - Integrated Flight Control Systems at ADA and was responsible for all activities of Quadraplex Digital Fly-By-Wire Flight Control System of Tejas Aircraf. A technology possessed only by select few countries of the world.As part of work at ADA he interacted and worked seemlessly with several primer organizations like HAL, BEL, DRDO (ADE, RCI,CEMILAC, ADDRE), CSIR-NAL, ISRO-VSSC, CMTI, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, DG-AQA, IISc, IIT Mumbai, Jadavpur University Kolkata, Gayatri Vidyardhi Parishad Vizag and several private industries. He also interacted and worked with several international aerospace companies like AMD-BA France, Lockheed Martin USA, BAE Systems UK, EADS Germany, Moog USA, Calspan USA etc.
Since Feb 2013, after his superannuation from ADA till June 2017 he worked as Emeritus Scientist at ADA in the technological areas of areas of flight controls.
On the academic front he served as examiner for PhD degrees of IISc Bangalore, IIT Chennai, Jadavpur University Kolkata, Andhra University Vizag etc. He presented many papers in international and national conferences and also chaired many conferences.
He was awarded National Aeronautical prize by Aeronautical Society of India for his work on LCA flight control systems in 2001. Also was recipient of outstanding contribution awards from National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), and ADA Bangalore.

Dr.R Venkata Siva Reddy has 27 years of teaching experience. He has graduated from Gulbarga University and done his masters in Power Electronics. His areas of research are Digital System Design, Embedded Systems Design. He is a senior member of IEEE and a valued IEEE member for last 18 years and Fellow of IETE (FIETE) India. He has published 11 papers in international journals. He has presented papers in various national and International conferences. Presently guiding 8 Ph.D. students.
He has organised various international conferences and workshops in the last 15 years.
He is an active HAM and have established Amateur Radio Club in REVA University with call sign VU3UFF. He is also the Patron of Indian Institute of HAM Bangalore.

Dr. Mrinal Sarvagya, Professor , School of ECE at REVA University holds PhD degree in Wireless Communication from IIT Kharagpur, MTech degree in digital Communication, IIT kanpur and B.E degree in Electronics and communication Engineering ” from Govt Engineering College Ujjain. ”. She received the best thesis award from IIT Kharagpur in the year 2009 for her thesis titled “QoS based packet scheduling and resource allocation schemes for WCDMA UMTS”. She is the member of Professional bodies WIE,IEEE, IETE, IEEE ComSOC ( Executive Committee Member bangalore Chapter) . She is on the editorial board of various international journals. She has 23 years of teaching experience, with expertise in various subjects like Wireless communication, Advanced Digital Communication, Computer communication and networking, channel estimation and modelling, Adhoc wireless networks, Protocol Engineering. Her area of research is Wireless communication, channel equalization in OFDM-IDMA / SCM receivers, Cognitive Radio networks.
She was Principal Investigator for project funded by VGST Karnataka title “ Zero padding OFDM signals for Cognitive radio Networks” (2012 -2014), Principal Investigator, IEEE Hyderabad “Multimedia Communication over Fibre Optical link” ( 2012) exhibited at Birla science Museum Hyderabad. She has completed the sponsored Project in the area of Underwater communication from Naval research Board, Ministry of defense India (2015). Her name is included in Marquis who is who in the world directory from 2007 onwards. She has received many awards like young research scientist from VGST karnatala in 2013, Bharat jyoti award from international friendship society of India Recently she received Outstanding faculty in engineering Award from Venus International foundation India 2017.

Dr. S N Prasad is working as a Professor in School of Electronics and Communication Engineering & Special Officer (Evaluation) of REVA University, Bangalore, India. He has completed B. E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Mangalore University and M. Tech. in Power Electronics from Visvesvaraya Technological University. He has secured a rank in his M.Tech from VTU. He has completed his Ph. D from Jain University under the guidance of Dr. S. Y. Kulkarni, Vice Chancellor, REVA University He has more than 20 years of teaching and 3 years of industry (IT) experience.
He has many publications in reputed national/international journals and conferences. Some of the journals where his research articles have been published are IJCA (International Journal of Computer Applications), IJAER (Scopus indexed journal), IJET (Scopus indexed journal) and IJSER (Thomson Reuters, Copernicus indexed), IEEE Sponsored international conferences etc. which are having very good impact factors. He has presented around 40 papers in national & international conferences. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems, Real Time Systems, Signal Processing, Power Electronics and Automotive Electronics etc.

Dr. Manjula R. Bharamagoudra has 14+ years of Teaching, Research and Administrative experience. She has many research publications in reputed national/international journals and conferences. She has published 12 papers in peer reviewed national and international journals, 18 papers in reputed national and international conferences and 2 book chapter/book. She has published a patent in the year 2018. As per Google Scholar, she has more than 182 citations (h-index = 8 and i-10index = 4) (as on Feb. 2019).
She is a reviewer for IEEE conferences and peer reviewed journals such as Elsevier, Wiley, Springer, IEEE systems and so on. She has been awarded with best Innovator - Edupreneur from University Industry Interaction Center REVA University. She is working in the areas related to study of underwater environment, providing solutions to the medical domain, robotics, underwater through internet of things. She is currently guiding three Ph.D. students from REVA University in the areas Internet of Things, Underwater IoT and Antennas. Dr Mohammed Riyaz Ahmed is an Associate Professor in School of Electronics and Communication Engineering. His primary areas of teaching (over the span of 10 years) are Circuit theory, Field Theory, Integrated Circuits, Control Systems, CMOS VLSI, and Microwave Communication engineering. Dr Riyaz is a Senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE, USA) and Life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE, India). He is a practicing teacher and believes in activity based learning. He is a practitioner of learner centric pedagogical methods and experiments diverse ways of teaching and learning. He is a very good counselor, motivator and has mentored over 22 UG and 12 PG projects out of which 3 projects bagged best project awards and 25 papers have been published under his guidance. He is a recognized (by Texas Instruments) mentor and his student projects explore the areas of Smart Cities (from smart grid to smart transportation), Technology Intervention for Elderly people, Artificial Intelligence, and Analog VLSI design.

Mohammed Riyaz Ahmed completed his doctoral studies very recently and is looking for active researchers to work under his guidance in the field of Computational Cognitive Neuroscience, Neuromorphic Engineering, Machine Learning, and Intelligent systems. He regularly speaks on basics of Circuit Theory, IC technology, Microelectronics, Neuromorphic Learning Circuits, Research Methodology, Emotional Intelligence, and Educational Research. He has over 11+ years of Teaching, Research and Administrative experience. His teaching interests are Mathematical Oriented and Programming Subjects like Circuit Analysis, Signals and Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Programming in C++, Microprocessors. Dr. Kounte has received “Best Teacher Award” from REVA University for the Year 2017.
He has over 16 Publications in International Conferences and over 8 Articles Published in reputed International Journals. His research interests include Machine Learning, Neuromorphic Vision Systems, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Signal Processing.
