Dr. Vidya Kumari
Director, School of Performing Arts
Dr. Vidya Kumari had an illustrious career as a print journalist working with the most renowned newspapers. She has been performing as a soloist for more than 20 years and conducted dance workshops in National & International forums. Her last assignment was with Jain University as Faculty in the Department of Dance.
She is a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies and also done her M.Sc in Material Science. She was awarded Research Fellowship by Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya Academy, Government of Karnataka.

Prof. Maalyada Anand
Assistant Professor, Kuchipudi, School of Performing Arts
Qualification: B.Tech(CS), MA (Kuchipudi), (Ph. D) Prof Maalyada holds a Post-graduation in Kuchipudi apart from B. Tech in Computer Science. Doordarshan graded artiste, she is the recipient of CCRT and HRD scholarship, Govt of India. Prof. Maalyada has traveled extensively all over India and USA for performances, master classes and workshops. In 2011, she was chosen as a cultural ambassador to USA. Currently, she is pursuing Ph. D in Kuchipudi and has published research papers in International and National conferences and refereed journals.
Prof. Sruthy Chandrasekhar
Assistant Professor, Music
Ms. Sruthy looks into administration and admission requirements of the school of Performing Arts. A trained vocalist and dancer herself, she is a rank student Post Graduation in Music and is working on the research areas in Music Teaching. She has accompanied several renowned dancers on vocal and have traveled all over India and Middle-East to present full-fledged concerts.
Prof. Aswini Nambiar
Assistant Professor, Bharathanatyam
An Alumni of the Kerala Kalamandalam, Trissur, Prof. Aswini has completed her Diploma in the field of Kuchipudi from Alliance University and her MFA in Bharathanatyam from Kalaikaveri. She is the disciple of Guru Kalamandalam Leelamani and Guru Dr. Vasanth Kiran. A post Gradute in M.Sc Psychology, she is currently pursuing her Ph. D in dance from the Annamalai University. She has extensively performed in India and the Middle East, Prof. Aswini Nambiar is a performer par excellence. She has presented many research papers in International and National Conferences and was also a “Kalathilakam” for three consecutive years from the Govt. of Kerala.

A Doordarshan ‘B’ graded artist and qualified by UGC NET with JRF award, Prof. Sachhidanand Narayankar is a practitioner and exponent of Bharatanatyam. Prof. Sachhidanand completed his Bachelors and Masters in Bharatanatyam from Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai, established by Padmabhushan Dr. Smt. Kanak Rele. Prof. Sachhidanand is the disciple of Guru Sri Vaibhav Arekar. He has got “SPICMACAY scholarship” for learning Kathakali. He is also an avid learner of Kalari Payattu and Mridangam. He has performed extensively in India and abroad in some of the major dance and music festivals. Some of the titles and awards that he received are Nritya Manikya Mani, National Nritya Shiromani, Kalpataru Kala Sanman etc. Prof. Sachhidanand is currently pursuing his Ph. D in Banasthali University, Rajasthan.
Prof. Charu Agaru

Assistant Professor, Theatre Arts
Charu Agaru has completed his Graduation in Kutiyattam, Chakyakoothu from Kerala Kalamandalam Deemed University for Arts and Culture. After Graduation Charu have done his Masters in Theatre Arts specializing Direction and Acting from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit and also achieved M.phil degree in Theatre Studies from School Of Letters, MG University. Presently Charu is persuing for Doctoral degree in Classical Theatre at School Of Drama, Calicut University, Thrissur. Charu have done his both Kutiyattam and Chakyarkoothu performances all over India and performed in main festivals like Sangeetha Natak Academy Kutiyattam Festivals, Soorya Festival, Nila festival etc... He has also Performed and Directed dramas in many important festivals too. Now Charu is performing both the art forms and also participating in many Theatre productions. Charu has received the prestigious Achutha Kurup Endowment from Kerala Kalamandalam for being the toper in Kutiyattam, Nrityanjaly Award, Kalpatharu Special Jury Award etc.
