Whats New at School of Performing Arts

School of Performing Arts at REVA University has been accorded the status of the Institutional Member of the prestigious International Dance Council (CID), the official partner of UNESCO. With this priviledge, School of Performing Arts will now offer International Certification Program in dance, which is valid in more than 190 member countries of UNESCO. The International Certification of Dance Studies enables the dance students to become the student member of CID.

This year the School of Performing Arts is introducing regular and weekend batches of MPA (Master of Performing Arts) programs to suit the requirements of wide range of students. The curriculum of the weekend program is tailor-made to suit the requirements of working people who are interested in honing their skills in performing arts. Another special addition to the existing programs is the introduction of Odissi and Kathak programs. It provides a great opportunity for South Indians, especially Kannadigas, to earn University degrees in Odissi and Kathak in our own Bengaluru. The School has collaborated with globally renowned forums like Indian Raga to popularise these classical dance forms around the globe. Students and faculty will get plenty of opportunities for showcasing their talents on a global platform through regular cultural programmes.

The very first batch of MPA students who are passing out this year already carved a niche for themselves in the field with exciting opportunities. Deepa. S, a promising student of this batch, was successful in securing admission at Tisch School of Performing Arts, NYU.
