There is no doubt that having a degree or post graduate degree will open doors to the world of employment opportunities.

But students need to be aware that employers today are looking for much more than just a degree or post graduate degree. Employers are looking for people who stand out from the crowd. They want graduates who have real life skills that can be applied to their organizations. Therefore, to compete effectively, students will have to develop real life skills and experience during their studies.

REVA has given special attention to equip students with these real life skills and practical experience through variety of training so as to empower them not only to compete effectively and successfully but also to gain a worthy job by the time they complete their studies.

During our growing years as an Adolescent or a Youth, there are many learnings, experiences and achievements, not only in academics but also in other areas such as sports, personality development, relating with people and much more. In the process, it is quite common to face some of the challenges such as:

  • Physical Changes
  • Emotional changes & problems
  • Behavioral Issues
  • Educational/Academic challenges
  • Psychological problems
  • Social Problems
  • Addiction – Smoking, Alcoholism, Cyberspace
  • Aggression

Surprisingly, most of the youngsters go through more than one such challenges which results in unpredictable lifestyle that may have negative impact on their academic performance as well as behavioral pattern. They are reluctant to discuss their problems with their own parents, teachers/lecturers, friends and relatives as they get worried about the consequences.

Counsellors are available at “Swamy Vivekananda Block”, Room # G-03, meet us on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10:30 am and 03:30 pm

Our University has provided counselling services within the campus. Counsellors offer talk-based therapy, which is a process of talking about and working through your personal problems with a Counsellor. The counsellor helps you to address your problems in a positive way by helping you to clarify the issues, explore options, develop strategies and increase self-awareness.

Our mission is to provide quality mental health interventions that enhance well-being and offer students a more meaningful and successful college experience. Individual and group counselling are available to students who are having difficulty with emotional, behavioral, academic, or adjustment concerns. The counselling process is used to clarify problems, establish realistic goals and develop active, short-term treatment solutions.
