Dr. N Ramesh

Dr. N. Ramesh is currently serving as the Vice Chancellor (In-charge) of REVA University. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry from Bangalore University and an M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry from Karnatak University, Dharwad. With over four decades of experience in academics and administration at Seshadripuram Institution and the REVA Group of institutions, Dr. Ramesh has successfully guided six Ph.D. scholars and is currently supervising three more. He has adjudicated two Ph.D. theses, published 15 research articles, and presented papers at national and international conferences.

Dr. Ramesh began his distinguished career as the Head of the Department of Chemistry at Seshadripuram College before joining the REVA Group of Educational Institutions in 2005 as Principal of the REVA Institute for Science and Management. Under his leadership, the institute achieved an 'A' Grade in NAAC Accreditation. In 2013, he was appointed Director of Planning at REVA University, later serving as Dean of the Career Development Centre & Planning. From February 2021 to March 2024, he served as the Registrar of REVA University.

With over 35 years of teaching and administrative experience, Dr. Ramesh is committed to advancing the education system globally. Throughout his career, he has held various positions, including Professor, Department Head, Principal, Director, Dean, and Registrar at REVA University. As a NAAC Assessor and Peer Team Member, he has evaluated ten institutions across India. Dr. Ramesh is recognised for his effective academic and administrative leadership, earning appreciation from faculty, staff, students, management, and stakeholders.

Dr. Ramesh has also fostered international collaborations, particularly between India and Japan, and has visited several European countries, including Germany, the UK, and France, to foster educational partnerships.
