REVA believes that women’s education plays a key role in nation-building and is essential for any country. Promoting education among women helps them understand their individuality and refrain from any kind of exploitation.
Women students have been given sufficient opportunities to excel in their chosen fields. There is no existence of gender discrimination at REVA University and women have been given equal importance in all the activities. We have also introduced a course on Gender Studies at the UG level in the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
Women faculty are also represented in the Academic Council, Board of Management, and Board of Governors, suggesting necessary reforms in higher education.
