7th Due to Rapid Infrastructure development that is happening in and around, use of Smart and sustainable materials has become the need of the hour in construction industry Use of smart materials in civil engineering is definitely a new approach for sustainable and durable construction of important structures With minimal chance of load exceedance and collapse of structures, the time life of such structures can be increased with the use of smart materials Therefore, it is very important to develop a smart system for concrete structures, which can minimize internal and external disturbances for structural safety and extension of its service life The International Conference on “Sustainable Materials for Advanced Research Technologies in Civil Engineering ”(SMART 2023) will show the way forward for the future of the construction industry The conference will bring together the key players such as Academicians, Researchers, and Industry professional from the construction industry from with the country and around the globe We hope that our Conference will offer a unique opportunity for interesting and fruitful interactions to all participants, providing them with memorable and pleasant experiences.

The School of Civil Engineering, REVA University, Bengaluru, India

The School of Civil Engineering is headed by highly experienced Professor and is supported by well qualified faculty members. The school has state-of-the-art class rooms and well-equipped laboratories. It offers B. Tech in Civil Engineering and M. Tech programs in Computer Aided Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering & Management and Construction Technology & Management, in addition to one-year certification courses in various streams. The school also has research program leading to doctoral degree. The curriculum of both graduate and postgraduate degree programs have been designed to bridge the gap between industry – academia and hence they are industry application oriented. Civil Engineering teaching was limited to planning, analysis, design and execution of different types of infrastructure like buildings, roads, bridges, dams and power plants. However currently, due to increase of technological sophistication and demand for higher living standards geared up by economic growth and concerns about environmental impact have changed the scope of Civil Engineering. The REVA University would like to offer Civil Engineering Programme to produce quality engineers who are effective and efficient in problem solving and providing economical and sustainable infrastructural solutions.
